The company has been changed to 100% subsidiary of CHINO Corp. Japan on January 22, 2009. 
From 22nd January 2009, CHINO Corporation has taken over 100% control of CHINO- Laxsons (India) Private Limited, and shall be known as CHINO India Private Limited from April 1st, 2009. The new company (CHINO India) will be managed by a new and dynamic team with a clear and definite strategy.
Y2K Information

All CHINO Instruments are made for year 2000 and beyond except Model AR Series Recorder.
Recorders print and display correctly in the period written below because the countermeasure for Y2K is done in software inside the recorders. Also, it works correctly in leap year. Clock IC inside the recorder calculate automatically.

Exception: Model AR Recorder

When data that is stored before and after year 2000 in FD is playbacked, it indicates 32nd, December, 1999 not 1st. January, 2000. But recorder that was delivered after July 1996 does not occur this problem.
We have the solution for the recorder that have this problem. This is to finish the data storing by the 31st December 1999 and start to storing the data from year 2000.
